Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who gave birth to her first baby at Seven Hills Hospital in Mumbai on November 16, has been discharged from the hospital a week after her delivery. The actress was accompanied by Amitabh, Jaya and Abhishek while her sister-in-law Shweta Nanda was at home for the welcoming ceremony. Big B was holding the baby girl wrapped in pink quilt to save her from the media glare.
Later in the day, Amitabh and Abhishek held a press conference for the media. They said that after Aishwarya was discharged from the hospital, the whole family went to their earlier residence ‘Pratiksha’ as they have many fond memories of that house.
“I think she looks like Aishwarya. As you know face of a kid changes with time, but I think she looks like Aishwarya. But some people in the family think she looks like Abhishek,” said Amitabh Bachchan.
Abhishek said the name of the baby girl has not been finalized yet, and the family members were still thinking about it. “If you have any suggestions (about the name) we will be very happy,” Abhishek was quoted as saying.
“Abhishek and Aishwarya want to name her with letter ‘A’. People have been sending their suggestions and the name will be decided in one or two days,” said Amitabh. |
