The Hicorp case filed against former army commander Sarath Fonseka was taken up in the Colombo High Court once again today.
A copy of the evidence that was given against the former army commander at the court martial was presented to the Court today.
Thereby copies of evidence provided by four witnesses were handed over to the high court.
The defence produced the evidence in order to establish that what is being tried in the Colombo High Court is the same as that which is being tried in the second court martial.
Subsequently, preliminary objections were filed stating that according to the law, two similar cases cannot be filed against the former army commander in two separate courts.
Judge Sunil Rajapaksa postponed hearings until next Tuesday.
