The Colombo Magistrate Court ordered the CID to present MP Duminda Silva’s bed-head ticket used during his treatment at the Sri Jayawardenapura hospital in the court case regarding the death of former MP Baratha Lakshman Premachandra.

 The order was made on the request of President’s Counsel Hemantha Warnakulasuriya who was present for MP Silva and told court that the CID had not conducted an investigation into MP Silva’s gunshots.

 He stated that the CID had not found the weapon that shot Duminda Silva and that the bed-head ticket will be crucial in uncovering the details regarding this.
