The daughter of slain presidential advisor Bharatha Lakshman Premachandra returned home last night (Nov. 17).
Hirunika Premachandra had left the country a few weeks ago due to pressure following the killing of her father.
She arrived at the Katunayake airport on a flight at around 11.00pm, reportedly from Japan.
Hirunika said at the airport that the court order for the arrest of MP Duminda Silva in connection with her father’s murder has restored her faith in the judiciary.
She said she has returned home to take legal measures against the killers. |
