UPFA mayoral candidate for the Colombo Municipal Council (CMC), Milinda Moragoda has said he would respond to the challenge put forward by UNP mayoral candidate A.J.M. Muzammil.

Muzammil has challenged Moragoda to a live debate on the issues faced by the Colombo city and its future development.

Muzammil has said the debate could be moderated by a person agreed to by both parties.

However, sources close to Moragoda have told the media that Moragoda would respond to Muzammil’s challenge.
