Fonterra company says that it is resuming its functions in Sri Lanka after ensuring that the threats levelled against its employees have been smoothed.

The company announced last Friday that due to the threats levelled at the security of its staff of 755 including 5 foreigners, they have decided to halt the operations in Sri Lanka.

However, the CEO of the company, Mr. Theo Spierings says that he believes these threats have gone away now.

Last Friday, Gampaha district court removed the injunction order imposed on the Fornterra products after being accused that they contain DCD poisonous chemical.

Meanwhile the New Zealand Govt says that their tests have revealed that Fonterra products does not contain harmful germs.

And this new trend finally reached countries like China and Russia where they have been banned.
