The job agent allegedly responsible for sending underage girl Rizana Naseek for employment in Saudi Arabia was arrested in Colombo by a special CID team yesterday. Rizana is now serving a jail term in Saudi Arabia after being sentenced to death by beheading by a Saudi Court in connection with the death of an infant who had been under her care at her employer's residence.

The job agent has been a neighbour residing near Rizana's home in Sajinagar, Muttur. The CID arrested him while he was hiding in Colombo after fleeing Muttur following a complaint made by Rizana's mother.
