Mahela reaches 10,000 Test runs milestone
 
 
Mahela Jayawardena scored 10,000 international Test runs a short while ago during the second Test match against South Africa becoming the first Sri Lankan and only the 9th cricketer in the world to reach the milestone.
 
Jayawardene was run-out just one run short of the 10,000-run mark in the first Test against South Africa at Centurion.
Jayawardene, 34, has already surpassed 10,000 ODI runs in his career.
